Welcome to twistedstars textiles

Deborah Sutton Moyes

The Quilter

I began quilting in the late 1990's when I found out that my husband and I were moving to Singapore. Since then I have made many quilts and learned all I can about quiltmaking.

I love making quilts for our beds.

Vermonr Shells hooked rug

The Rug Hooker

Rug hooking is not my main passion, but I do love doing it. From dyeing the wool in whatever colors I dream up to creating and hooking a rug, it's a wonderful pasttime.

I hope to be teaching a workshop soon!

The Weaver

I've been weaving since I was in college! My mother and I took lessons from a local woman and immediately loved it. This is also when I started dyeing fiber and dreaming of colors and design.

I am working away on my floor loom and hope to offer one of a kind textiles for sale.
